The SupaGrip SafeKerb Ramp provides a safe, temporary transition from roadway to footpath for pedestrians and wheelchair users when a footpath has been closed for site works.
- 350kg tested and certified weight capacity to support mobility scooters, wheelchairs, and foot traffic
- Tested and certified high-traction anti-slip surface for increased grip in wet conditions
- Manufactured in the UK – durable and won’t bend or break like cheaper ramps
This ramp meets AS1428:1 Design for Access and Mobility and is the only pedestrian kerb ramp in the NZ market that complies with and exceeds the:
- Wheel Chair Boarding Ramp Specification
- Safety at Street Works, Code of Practice
- Disability Discrimination Act
- Made from High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) with PVC rubber edging – 100% recyclable
- Designed to be loose-laid – rubber edging prevents ramp movement and provides stability for use in temporary applications
- Fixing options are available for longer-term applications or if site conditions are poor and Risk Assessment deems necessary (see options below for fixing types)
- Raised sides used as tapping guide for the visually impaired
- Flexible rubber edging adapts to varying kerb or step heights (60mm to 160mm)
